Hello and welcome to the Kingsbury Water Park Model
Boat Club web site.
We are
constantly developing the site, making changes and updating it,
so please revisit us again to see our activities.
We are a dedicated group of model boat enthusiasts interested in all
forms of this hobby, yachts, fast electrics, nitro, tethered
hydroplane, scale boats, and steam. In fact you name it and we'll
sail it.
We have been based at Kingsbury Water Park since 1975 and
have our own dedicated modelling lake.
So if you are interested in knowing more please come and see us at
the pond or
email us by clicking here
If you wish to become a member please also contact the secretary for
more details (see link above)
Thank you for taking the time to visit us and we look forward to you
visiting us again.
If you come to visit us at the pool we ask that you stay behind the
fence in case of accidents thank you.

Updated News
for people who use figures from George Turner.
Hi I have been keeping in touch with Adrian Clutterbuck, the new
suppler of George Tuner Model crew.
Below is a copy of part of an email I received from him and a link
to a list of shows he is going to attend,
Unfortunately he will not be attending the Warrick show as the cost
of a stall is to high for the limited stock he will be selling.
I hope the information and so on is helpful to you all that use
figures.
Paul (Geordie)
The figures
I have are the "China imported" ready painted ones – most of the
range anyway, covering lifeboats, Royal Navy to Tugs/MFV's and
scale 1:12, 1:16, 1:24, 1:32 & 1:48. I intend to sell the
figures at most of the major UK shows (details attached).
Because I
only have the figures element, (a small part of the George
Turner Empire), it’s not cost effective or operationally viable
to have a dedicated website or brochure. Instead if you require
a particular figure/scale it's better to ring or e-mail me and I
can check the stock or you could see the stand at one of the
attached shows?
Hope this
isn't too long winded but helps your club members in what the
current situation is?
Any
questions please don't hesitate to ring me.
Best
regards,
Adrian
