Welcome to the
offshore/inshore section!

We run a series of class’s ranging from AA-D.
The smallest class is ‘AA’ which holds a 3 ½ cc glow fuel
engine.

The next class up is ‘A’ which holds a 7 cc glow fuel
engine.

The middle class is the ‘B’ class which holds an 11 cc glow
fuel engine.

The largest glow fuel engine is 15 cc which is the ‘C’
class.

The final class is the ‘D’ class which can hold up to 50 cc
petrol engines.

There are two types of drive…
1: A submerged drive is where the propeller is under the
water
2: A
surface drive is where the propeller is only half way in the
water.
Our boats are designed in the style of full
size offshore racing boats (only smaller)…
Other
than engine size and style as a rule we must have a 50mm
high side to the boat.
Also, the exhaust pipe has a limit to how far
it can come out of the boat back.

tools needed for fine tuning.

We
follow the same rules as the B.M.P.R.S (British Model
Powerboat Racing Society)

so if
you are interested you can review their rule book online.
